Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation
The new EU Strategy Europe 2020 places a specific emphasis on the importance of providing more space for social innovation and experimentation in the projects, to meet new challenges in the welfare system. The network entrepreneurship and social innovation is led by a working group with representatives from organizations in the Stockholm region, with previous experience in the field.
With the support from the project management for Networking Europe the group is working to widen its knowledge exchange and cooperation between countries, organizations and projects in Europe with special focus on the Baltic Sea region.
The main focus is to identify and link up with existing networks and create a wide network of contacts for the next Structural Funds period and for the EU 2020. In case areas are identified where network is missing, the working group will try to find organizations that can or should develop networks or attache them to already existing ones.
The working group consists of the following organizations: Social Venture Network (SVN), Tillväxtverket, Länstyrelsen Stockholms län, Företagsakademin, SU Innovation, Forum för frivilligt socialt arbete, Coompanion Stockholm och Leftisright
